Ukulele Tuning Low G

Ukulele Tuning Low G

Ukulele Tuning Low G  is sometimes referred to as linear tuning.  In low G, all of the strings stay tuned the same as in Standard tuning, except the  G-string, which is tuned down an octave to the “G”  So, tuning the G-string down an octave, you will add five additional notes to the bottom of the ukulele’s range of pitch. Keep in mind that you will need to buy a special Low G string.
